About
Who I Work With
I support individuals of all ages navigating:
Anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm
Childhood trauma or complex PTSD
Life transitions or Burnout
Grief and Loss
Identity Exploration
Sensory sensitivity or difficulty expressing emotions
Feeling like traditional therapy hasn’t worked
All people need a safe space to thrive. I do not discriminate based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, disability or national origin.
What Therapy Looks Like
I offer therapy that meets you where you are.
My approach includes:
Individual Therapy– grounded, goal-oriented talk therapy tailored for each client
Art Therapy – creative expression when words aren’t enough
EMDR – for healing trauma held in the mind and body
DBT –structured therapy that focuses on teaching four core skills: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness
Mission
Rooted in the belief that healing starts in the present moment, I offer a safe and welcoming space to reconnect with yourself — even when words are hard to find. Through art-making, talk therapy, and somatic approaches, we help you build emotional safety, resilience, and meaningful growth.
To be anchored means feeling steady and grounded, even when life feels overwhelming. Just like a ship’s anchor holds it steady through a storm, mental health anchors — like breathwork, calming tools, and supportive routines — help you stay centered and in control.
Anchored Art Therapy exists to help you feel steady, connected, and empowered in your healing journey — honoring creativity as a powerful path back to self.
