About
My Mission
Anchored Art Therapy & Counseling supports children, teens, and adults in navigating life’s challenges with personalized, compassionate, and trauma-responsive care.
Rooted in the belief that healing starts in the present moment, I offer a safe and welcoming space to reconnect with yourself — even when words are hard to find. Through art-making, talk therapy, and somatic approaches, we help you build emotional safety, resilience, and meaningful growth.
To be anchored means feeling steady and grounded, even when life feels overwhelming. Just like a ship’s anchor holds it steady through a storm, mental health anchors — like breathwork, calming tools, and supportive routines — help you stay centered and in control.
Anchored Art Therapy exists to help you feel steady, connected, and empowered in your healing journey — honoring creativity as a powerful path back to self.
What Therapy Looks Like
I offer therapy that meets you where you are.
My approach blends:
Individual Therapy – grounded, goal-oriented talk therapy that’s never rushed
Art Therapy – creative expression when words aren’t enough
EMDR – for healing trauma held in the mind and body
DBT –structured therapy that focuses on teaching four core skills: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness
All sessions are trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and culturally responsive.
Who I Work With
I support children (ages 6+), teens, adults, and caregivers navigating:
Anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm
Childhood trauma or complex PTSD
Life transitions, identity exploration, or burnout
Grief and Loss
Sensory sensitivity or difficulty expressing emotions
Feeling like traditional therapy hasn’t worked

The Therapy Space
Whether you’re joining in person in Oklahoma City or virtually across the state of Oklahoma, the goal is the same:
To create a space that feels less like a clinic—and more like a quiet exhale. A place where you can come as you are and be met with care, creativity, and compassion.
