What Therapy Looks Like

I offer therapy that meets you where you are.
My approach includes:

  • Individual Therapy– grounded, goal-oriented talk therapy tailored for each client

  • Art Therapy – creative expression when words aren’t enough

  • EMDR – for healing trauma held in the mind and body

  • DBT –structured therapy that focuses on teaching four core skills: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness

Mission

Rooted in the belief that healing starts in the present moment, I offer a safe and welcoming space to reconnect with yourself — even when words are hard to find. Through art-making, talk therapy, and somatic approaches, we help you build emotional safety, resilience, and meaningful growth.

To be anchored means feeling steady and grounded, even when life feels overwhelming. Just like a ship’s anchor holds it steady through a storm, mental health anchors — like breathwork, calming tools, and supportive routines — help you stay centered and in control.

Anchored Art Therapy exists to help you feel steady, connected, and empowered in your healing journey — honoring creativity as a powerful path back to self.
