Individual Counseling
& Art Therapy

To be anchored means feeling steady and grounded, even when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. It’s about finding something that helps you stay connected to the present moment—like focusing on your breath, using calming tools, or holding onto a meaningful routine. These “anchors” help keep us from getting swept away by stress, anxiety, or big emotions. Just like a boat uses an anchor to stay in place during a storm, we use anchors in our mental health to help us feel safe, centered, and more in control.

Creating Calm

Art therapy provides a creative avenue to visualize goals, change perspective, develop a deeper understanding of emotions, and stay anchored to the present moment. Clients often find that creative expression through art can capture emotions and memories in ways that words cannot.
