Absolutely not. There’s no pressure to create anything that looks a certain way. Art therapy is about expression, not perfection. It’s a tool—not a test.

Sessions are guided by your needs. You may use art materials, talk with your therapist, or do a combination of both. Some sessions are quiet and reflective, others more interactive—there’s no wrong way to show up.

That depends on your comfort and interests. We offer a variety of materials, like drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and mixed media. You’ll never be pushed to use anything you don’t feel comfortable with.

Yes. If you prefer traditional talk therapy, we offer that too—always with a trauma-informed, client-led approach. Many clients choose to blend both over time.

Yes. We offer art therapy for children 8 and up, as well as teens navigating anxiety, identity, trauma, and more. Sessions are age-appropriate and focus on creating emotional safety.

Standard sessions are 50 minutes. We also offer extended sessions depending on your needs.

We are a private-pay practice and do not currently accept insurance. However, we can provide superbills for possible reimbursement through your provider.
